Kerri on the Prairies is a personal blog. I write and edit the entirety of the content found on this site with the exception of guest posts–these posts are edited as necessary by me, however, I will never post any content that I do not fully believe in. I will not accept guest posts that contain paid topic insertions–likewise, I do not and will never accept any form of paid/cash advertising or sponsorship, nor paid topic insertions to maintain this blog (or otherwise).

While I will never receive compensation in any way from this blog, I will happily accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations. Any such instances that are mentioned on this blog will be clearly noted by a disclosure (usually more than once). Affiliate links in relevant posts will be made clear.

I like free things, but that’s the only “compensation” I’ll receive for this blog: I am not compensated to provide opinions on products, services, websites and/or various other topics on this blog. If I choose to write about free products or events I have attended, it is because I believe in their potential and want to share. Opinions presented regarding such will never be influenced by the company or organization providing the complimentary products, services or opportunities, only my personal interest and perceptions of the experience. Regarding products, this means that I will provide my honest experience–negative or positive. Positive reviews do not necessarily constitute endorsement. All reviews are simply my honest opinion, regardless of any partnerships I am involved in.

The views and opinions I share here are purely mine. If I  claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, I will only endorse products or services that I believe, based on my expertise (and personal experience), are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.
